This episode of FIX MI bunny came a bit unexpectedly. I was planning to make this a weekly episode, but I know a lot of folks have this problem now so I just had to share it the soonest!
After the recent MIUI 6 Developer ROM update. A lot of people have been experiencing force closes when sending/opening messages coming from 3, 4 or 5 digit numbers.
But no need to worry though as FIX MI Bunny gives you a quick fix!
- Download Mms.apk
Mms.apk
- Install
- Overwrite your existing Messaging App
- Go to Settings> Installed Apps> Messaging> Clear Data
- Done!

Viola! No more force close!
Easy-peasy right? FIX MI Bunny will now go eat some carrots! Adios amigos!
(BTW: This is just a temporary fix 'til we get a proper fix from the MIUI Devs on the next update. I suggest you backup your MMS.APK before applying this fix)
